What is the Young Parent Hub at Rosalie Hall?
The Young Parent Hub is a free program offering supportive programs for pregnant and parenting youth (ages 12-29). Every Thursday, our peer-led hub provides hands-on workshops, one-on-one check-ins and a caring community—designed to help you build parenting skills, boost your wellness and connect with others facing similar challenges.
Who can attend the Young Parent Hub?
All young pregnant or parenting youth 29 and under, are welcome to join. We serve young mothers, fathers and non-binary parents from all backgrounds—LGBTQ+ youth, newcomers, Indigenous families and more—in a safe, inclusive space in Scarborough.
When and where does the Young Parent Hub meet?
It meets every Thursday from 4:00-6:00pm.
Do I need to register or make an appointment?
Yes, please call our Intake Worker to register and talk about start dates.
What types of workshops and activities are offered?
Examples of the workshops offered include:
- Parenting & attachment — learn nurturing techniques and attachment activities
- Mental health & stress management —tools for anxiety, depression and self-care
- Nutrition & healthy living — meal planning, budgeting basics and wellness tips
- Employment readiness — ésumé help, interview skills and job leads
- Early literacy & child development — story time, play-based learning and school prep

Is the Young Parent Hub free and confidential?
Absolutely. All Young Parent Hub services are provided at no cost and are strictly confidential. We protect your privacy and create a non-judgmental space for every young parent.
