Help to support Rosalie Hall through donation
Thank you for supporting Rosalie Hall and the young families we serve.
As you can imagine, the costs associated with offering the wide range of programs at Rosalie Hall are substantial. There are many ways that your donation can help. For example, with your help, we can provide for our young families' needs by assisting in the purchase of baby supplies, food and household items. Donations also assist us in maintaining and improving the programs and services offered, including our Live In Treatment program and school. Donations likewise help us provide ongoing training for our workers so they can continue to offer the very best evidence-based treatment and support for our moms and babies.
Your donation is an investment in improving and changing the lives of our young families who need your support, and with your assistance, we can help to open doors for their future.
Thank you for your support.

Take Stock in a Child’s Future
Recent changes to federal tax law are allowing an even greater incentive to making charitable gifts using appreciated, publicly listed securities. These significant changes have eliminated the taxes due on capital gains when securities are gifted directly to a charity.
By donating securities to Rosalie Hall, you get a full tax receipt for the value donated AND eliminate the tax due on any capital gain in the securities. The greater the gain, the greater your tax savings will be.

A charitable tax receipt will be issued based on the market value of the transferred securities, determined at the close of trading on the day our custodial agency (TD Canada Trust) receives the securities.
Rosalie Hall's policy is to sell donated securities immediately upon receipt or as soon as possible thereafter.
How can charitable donations reduce my income tax?
The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) regulates charities registered under the Income Tax Act in Canada. Under the Act, donations to registered charities can help to reduce your individual income tax. Tax credits are calculated as a percentage of the amount you donate in a given year.
Generally, you can claim all or part of your donations up to a limit of 75 percent of your net income. You may also be eligible for a provincial tax credit for your donations. The amount of the provincial tax credit varies between provinces. You can also combine your receipts with your spouse and have only one person claim the entire amount.
