Licensed full-day care for infants, toddlers & preschoolers

At Rosalie Hall, our Early Learning & Child Care Centre provides a safe, nurturing environment where your little one can learn, play and grow—so you can focus on school, work or other supports. Located on-site in Scarborough, our centre is fully licensed and open Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Certified RECEs and ECEs maintain small group sizes and high adult-to-child ratios.

While your child is in care, you can attend counselling, parenting groups or our on-site high school program.

Weekly sessions on child development, early literacy and positive parenting techniques.

Our child care services are free for young parents (ages 12-29) enrolled in Rosalie Hall programs. To register your child (0–5 years), complete our
online Child Care Application or contact our ELCC Supervisor at

What ages does the Early Learning & Child Care Centre serve?

We welcome infants (4 weeks+) through preschoolers (up to 5 years old), with age-appropriate classrooms and activities designed for each developmental stage.

Is there a cost for child care at Rosalie Hall?

Yes. Our Early Learning and Child Care program is fully licenses and families are eligible for up to a 100% subsidy through the City of Toronto.

Yes. Nutritious snacks and meals are provided daily, following Canada’s Food Guide. We also accommodate dietary needs and allergies—just let us know when you register.

How is early literacy supported in the program?

Our educators incorporate story time, singing, art and sensory activities into the daily schedule to foster language development, pre-reading skills and a love of books.

Is the facility accessible?

Yes. Our centre is fully AODA-compliant with ramps, wide doorways and accessible washrooms to ensure every family can participate comfortably.

What happens if my child is sick?

For the health and safety of all children, please keep unwell children at home. Our staff follow Public Health Ontario guidelines and will contact you if your child becomes ill while in care.
