Clinical Excellence in Mental Health Services
Goals
Strengthen the capacity of Rosalie Hall staff to deliver effective evidence-based health, mental health, and developmental services for young parents and their infants/children.
Organization-Wide Initiatives
- Define the continuum of evidence-based/informed services required by young families.
- Develop and implement a staff capacity-building strategy that equips all team members with the knowledge, skills, and tools to deliver high-quality, evidence-based/informed care to young parents, infants, and children.
- Improve pathways to service for young parents, their infants and children ensuring a holistic approach to care and treatment that is culturally sensitive and specific to their needs.
- Implement service evaluation processes that integrate client voice, monitor fidelity of the programs and services, and track measurable outcomes to support continuous quality improvement and accountability in service delivery.
Optimize Service Delivery
Goals
Optimize service delivery through coordinated, trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches that address poverty and early adversity, strengthen parenting capacity, and foster lifelong mental health and resilience.
Organization-Wide Initiatives
- Implement a coordinated, cross-program approach to ensure all services are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and designed to address the interrelated impacts of poverty, early adversity, and mental health challenges.
- Develop and expand programs that equip parents with the resources, skills, and emotional supports needed to provide stable, nurturing environments, while also fostering children’s resilience and well-being.
- Embed proactive screening, early intervention, and accessible mental health supports into all service points to reduce the long-term impacts of adverse childhood experiences and strengthen protective factors for families.
Reimagine Mother Rosalie For Increased Impact
Goals
Increase organizational impact and relevance by undertaking a thoughtful reimagining of Mother Rosalie, aligning with contemporary needs while preserving the essence of our heritage.
Organization-Wide Initiatives
- Conduct a reflective review of Mother Rosalie’s legacy, ensuring it resonates with today’s societal needs while honoring our history.
- Ensure that programs and services are aligned with our founding principles of compassion, service and care.
- Develop a branding awareness campaign to reintroduce our heritage and legacy while showcasing our modern impact.
- Adapt Mother Rosalie’s legacy of care to today’s growing emphasis on mental health by providing workshops and resources that support mental well-being for staff.
Advocacy For System Change And Move It Before Reimagine Mother Rosalie
Goals
Advocate for the establishment of a comprehensive system of services that actively supports the smooth transition of young families towards independent living. AND move it with its Priority to before Reimagining Mother Rosalie
Organization-Wide Initiatives
- Develop a unified and strategic advocacy plan with other LIT providers.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key policy makers.
- Deliver data-driven reports and policy briefs to key decision makers.
- Launch a public awareness campaign, with other LIT providers.
- Form strategic partnerships with organizations that can amplify the public awareness campaign (e.g. EKO, CMHO).
Promote Inclusion & Belonging
Goals
Create an environment where all young parents feel valued, respected, and supported, ensuring that diverse voices and experiences are heard and integrated into the agency’s programs, policies, and community-building efforts.
Organization-Wide Initiatives
- Develop and implement programs that reflect the diverse needs and experiences of young parents, with an emphasis on accessibility, cultural safety, and empowerment.
- Provide ongoing training and professional development for Board members and staff, on topics related to anti-racism, cultural safety, and equity.
- Form a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) committee to oversee and guide our inclusion and belonging initiatives.
- Ensure language used in policies and procedures aligns with EDI principles.
